BPSC Prelims Previous Year's Cut Off (Category- Wise)

Every year several candidates are present in the BPSC Preliminary Examination to be admitted as officers in the administrative services of Bihar. Due to the high number of candidates, the BPSC cut-off remains higher. This article is about the past year's cut-off for different categories.

In the 60-62 th BPSC held on 12-Feb-2017; 160086 candidates appeared in the preliminary examination and out of this 8282 candidates were declared qualified for the main examination. For 60-62 BPSC, cut-off for different category is given below. The cut-off is from 150 points.

In the 56-59th BPSC organized on March 15, 2015; There were 247273 candidates in the initial examination, out of which 28308 candidates were declared qualified for the main examination. For the 56-59th BPSC, cut-offs for different categories are given below. The cut-off is from 150 points.

The decision of the cut-off in the examination is done by several factors such as the number of candidates in the examination, the number of vacancies, the level of examination difficulty, the provision of negative points in the exam etc. Any fluctuation can be seen.
